Frequently Asked Questions

Do you rent to individuals?

PC Rentals rents to established businesses in the Dallas and Fort Worth area.   We do rent projectors, PCs and laptops to individuals (daily and weekly), but we require a deposit that covers the cost of the equipment.

Does my home based business qualify?

Possibly, but a deposit would be required.

What payments do you accept?

Payment may be made with company check, cash, Visa, or Master Card. The credit card must be physically present - we do not take card numbers over the phone. At the time of delivery, the card will be imprinted and then swiped through our wireless credit card terminal. The card holder will need to be present to sign the receipt.

When do you deliver?

Deliveries are during business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 4pm. After hours and weekend deliveries can be scheduled (and cost extra). Deliveries are free in the Dallas area. Deliveries outside of Dallas may have a delivery fee, depending on the driving distance.

Can I pick it up?

Computer equipment can be picked up from our office. A deposit may be required along with the payment. The deposit can be made with cash or credit card, but not check.

Do you ship out of state?

We can ship out of state, if your company is in the Dallas area. Typically, we do not rent equipment out of state.

Will you buy my old computer (or notebook)?

PC Rentals only buys new equipment.

Where can I sell my old computer?

Unfortunately, we don't know the answer. The computer industry is very competitive, so the value of used equipment is low.

Do you do rent-to-own?

No, we do not. It might be better to consider purchasing an inexpensive desktop or notebook from our Used Computer section.

Do you service computers or notebooks?

We only service our own computers and notebooks. We are not familar with all the different types and models of computers out there - probably no one could be. The best solution is to take it back to the company you bought it from - they should know how to fix it.
